The 2026 Fall Salon is an event dedicated to celebrating contemporary artists of the Rio Grande Valley and border region while honoring the legacy of artists Normah Knight, Ruth Young McGonigle, Maria Elena Bouchard, and Bartolomé Mongrell Mestre, who shaped the Valley’s fine arts landscape.

Through a thoughtfully designed salon-style gathering, SHEKAY brings together artists, collectors, and patrons in an atmosphere of elegance, conversation, and artistic appreciation.

The SHEKAY Fine Arts Salon & Silent Auction

The Fall 2026 Salon. A gathering featuring a curated selection of work by highly regarded artists, presented in an elegant salon setting. The evening brings together collectors and creatives for an experience centered on appreciating and acquiring beautiful artwork.

A portion of the Proceeds will benefit the Brownsville Historical Association.
